“I will do anything to make her MINE.” —Remington Tate

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Love, love and again, love Remy!!!! And it’s definitely a 5 Remy stars from us!!!!!

The Story picks up where the Real left off… This time Brooke is making sure that nothing will get in the way for Remy to win the championship, Remy is making sure Brooke always comes first,  and Scorpion is still doing everything to screw with Remy’s head to sabotage his chance of winning.

I cannot say enough how much we loved Remy here, when he talks, he just  gave us goosebumps sigh… The author conveyed well how his hurt over what occurred at the end of the last book still left an impact on our Remy!

The reader hurts for Remy having two a-holes in lieu of real loving parents and going through such treatment for his Bipolar disorder… However his strength, ability to love, loyalty and his willingness to sacrifice everything in order to  keep Brooke and her loved ones safe is so admirable, you fall more and more for our fearsome lion!

We  did agree that Brooke in this installment is kind of irritating, irrational and  was always on the verge of tears, you wonder where our Confident, strong  Brooke we loved in ‘REAL’ disappeared to!!…. but hey, if we had Remy, we’d probably be somewhat jealous too, time apart did not help as their love for each is so powerful, they needed to remain in constant touch to be able to function. Her refusal at certain points to see  Remy’s loyalty and his utter adoration for her is beyond irritating even though we understood her insecurities, however She does redeem herself  in the end.

The highlight for us was the showdown between our Lion and the arrogant Scorpion!

Scorpion is the same person we have seen in the first book, nothing changed. He has his eyes on defeating Remy  and will use whatever means in his disposal to do so!

He really thought he had it in the bag! Ah how pleasant it was to see  the mighty Scorpion falls!

The story is well written, hot, romantic, a page-turner, inspiring and angsty. I definitely want more of Remy!!!!

Thank you Ms. Evans for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
