Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

it’s almost
time for war.Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life.

It’s been forever since I last read the first book…. I thought I would wait for the 2nd book then decided to wait for all the books to come out instead, and ended up forgetting… but I did not forgot the story…nooooo, the story is uniquely different that I wouldn’t easily forget.

There are too many emotions involved in this second series. And a lot of unravelling.

Juliette’s emotional struggle had my heart on pause and I needed to press play to breathe! There’s so many issues that she struggles with… and one of those is Adam and Warner.

Adam, I love him, loved him since the first book…. but I feel like he isn’t enough for Juliette… sorry team Adam…. I just feel like Juliette deserves a man that is much stronger! That will truly understand, support and love her passionately!!! And I feel that that would be Warner.

Warner, ugh, I can’t even begin where to start. I love him! He is sexy, hot and most of all, I love me some bad-ass!!!! The words/feelings he expressed towards Juliette, he had me at “love”… darn!!!! He can call me that anytime!!!!

The story kinda reminds me of the t.v. series Heroes, where there are humans that has super power… and they formed themselves into a group to take down the regime. There are a lot of revelations in this 2nd book that is definitely surprising!

Enough said… there’s nothing I don’t like in this series…. superbly written… LOVED IT! And moving on to the next book!
