Saving Grace (Mad World #2) by Christine Zolendz

After spending over 2,000 years being a lost soul looking for the angel I was forbidden to fall in love with, I finally found him. Lucky for me he has taken up residence inside the hot body of NYC’s local bad boy, tattooed rock star, Shane Maxton. Turns out, not only is he absolutely perfect, so is the whole Grace Taylor life that I’m stuck in. The only problem is Gabriel. An archangel who wants me all to himself so he kind of kidnaps me. Now I have to find my way back and hope everything works out…

3.5 Stars!

Between book 1 and 2, I wish it was made into one book and cut short on some repetitive scenes, like the chase between Grace and Shane, Grabriel’s constant threat towards Grace and the partying/boozing… I could go with less of those….

That I said, I love Shane, who wouldn’t… though I’m like, what took him so long to tell Grace the truth? But I did enjoyed his constant jealousy and possessiveness.

I like Grace  better here than on the first book.

The story continues where it left on book one.

A lot of sexual frustration going around too which was hot but there were moments when I just wanna scream and want them to get to it.

I enjoyed reading Lea and Grace’s friendship… Actually, I love the whole rapport thing the whole gang got going.

An Interesting storyline, a whole lot of angst, a thrilling climatic scene and mighty sweet ending. I do find the story a bit stretch… and the ending short.

Written under Grace’s POV… The next book would be under Shane’s POV.
