Wes Jensen just lost the sister who raised him, and gained custody of his niece. The last thing he needs to add to his full plate is dealing with Braden Roth, the one-night-stand who continues to try to push his way into Wes’ life. He has a kid to raise now, and Wes isn’t great at getting close anyway.
Braden has never had a woman or a man sneak out on him the morning after. From the start, Wes intrigues him, and Braden isn’t one to deny himself something he wants. And he wants Wes. The more time he spends with Wes and the little girl who constantly keeps them on their toes, the more Braden realizes this isn’t just about getting the guy who walked away.
As their lives intertwine more and more, Wes discovers Braden isn’t as shallow as he thought. But after everything Wes lost in his life, he isn’t sure he can risk his heart, and truly want Braden to stay—and if he did, would Wes’ quiet life be enough for Braden?
4.5 I’m so in love with this book starz
Book 2 in the Black Creek series.
Braden has stolen my heart and I don’t think he’ll ever give it back.
What a freaking sweet, sexy, romantic, sexy, hott read!!!
I started this and I just didn’t stop until the last page. I was so invested in this book that nothing could tear me away. NOTHING. It took me less than 5 seconds to remember the characters and the plot of Collide. That Ha! moment when it all comes together again. And that was it. Off to the races with Stay. From Page 1 in just pulls you in and doesn’t let you go. I love a sexy man who knows what he wants, doesn’t let anything stop him. Who can’t keep his mouth shut with sexual innuendos and has sarcasm in spades. Yes. I do. Braden.
“Who said I’d want to have sex with you in the shower?”
“Me. I even wanted to have sex with myself when I took one this morning . I’m irresistible like that. “
I also really love a broken, grumpy man, who hates the world and has so many hidden layers. Layers that slowly get peeled away by someone. Yes I do. Wes.
The sex. OHMG. The sex is smokin! Smokin Hot! Firehouse hot!
The kisses are so sweet. Like melt your heart sweet.
The back and forth convo’s. Seriously had the stupidest grin on my face the whole time!
There is angst. Like the twinge your heart kind. The kind that makes you wanna hug someone and tell them it will get better. There is a little girl that will kinda melt your heart cause you know two men and a kid. Its so priceless.
The story had it all and I have to thank Riley for pulling me out of my severe book funk that I was in.
I haven’t had a book that takes me 5 hours to read in a while.
Can’t wait for book 3 in this series!!!
Mason seems like he’s going to intrigue me by leaps and bounds.
