If you like romance that is full on mystery, then I highly recommend this series! From the first part of the series to this last one, the story will suck you in the enigma that is Mara Dyer.

It all started with a ouija board, followed by an accident that Mara can’t remember which killed her friends and left her unharmed.

The first two books of the series, it was driving me crazy as to the what, why and who! I felt bad for Mara to the point that I thought maybe she is crazy. This series is that crazy good! There was so much twist and I didn’t see them coming! But, I also felt as frustrated with all the mess going on, with the lead heroine constantly being pushed downwards. All this I felt on the first and second book.

Then comes the final book… I couldn’t be more excited in thinking that I’ll finally get my answers, for redemption and/or retribution. And in part, it did! Maybe it’s just me but to the end of the book, I am even more confused than ever. Lol. Could it just be me? But that’s not to say I didn’t love it! I definitely recommend you read this series, cause it is really good!

The story switches from the past and present…. I wasn’t particularly into it, I thought it just added more to my confusion… Although it did meet together in the end…

There are moments that I felt like the story stretches, like on their quest to find answers. At this point, I was already guessing who the big guy was and hey, what do you know, I am right.

Definitely high on mystery and intrigue… it is intense, graphic and horrific…

As for the romance.. I thought it was a close to perfect ending for Noah and Mara. 🙂

Je t’aime. Aujourd’hui. Ce soir. Demain. Pour toujours. Si je vivais mille ans, je t’appartiendrais pour tous. Si je vivais mille vies, je te ferais mienne dans chacune d’elles.

I love you. Today. Tonight. Tomorrow. Forever. If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If I were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one.

SPOILER ALERT Below 😉 !!!!

These are some questions that keeps playing in my head when I realized the story has ended :
Did Noah’s father just gets away with everything? I know, I know, there is a promise of retribution, but I’d really rather see it.  Is Mara is still considered unstable by her parents then? What of Lukumi or the professor? What is his purpose? How come he seems to know something, if not everything, and follows them around, and does nothing but expects something? There was a letter for Noah from his mom that Noah is to give to that person Noah considers worth fighting for, did he give it to Mara? What was in it? What happened to Stella? So, what of the “You will love him to ruins.”? There there’s : “You can choose to end life or choose to give it, but punishment will follow every reward. Punishment. Reward”. – was Jude the punishment and Noah the reward? I really didn’t get that part.. Can Mara heal now too?! There is so much more I wish I had answers.  😦
